Originally designed for Russia's mountain troops, the Gorka concept spread rapidly. Its full coverage, generous cut, and high mobility won it quick and lasting adoption around the world. Over the years Russian manufacturers made minor tweaks and updated camouflages, but the core design of the Gorka was left unchanged. 40 years is a long time in military technology, so in 2018 we introduced a suite of upgrades we called the \"Gorka K.\"\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe first K Gorka—the K1—addressed a ton of problems with the old Gorka design. However we quickly ran into a dilemma; improving the Gorka further depended on your definition of \"improvement.\" Our team quickly formed into two separate camps: Gorka traditionalists who wanted to improve the fit and function of the Gorka, but not disrupt it's Russian blood.
