Culbuto Okiagari Doll - Monk Ikkyu-san

Culbuto Okiagari-koboshi Japanese Figurine – Monk Ikkyu-san

Meet Ikkyu-San, a 15th-century Zen monk and poet known for his free spirit, humor, and love of life’s simple pleasures. This Japanese okiagari tumbler honors his playful yet wise character with a colorful, expressive design. Handcrafted in Japan from crepe and washi paper, it blends tradition with originality.

Like Ikkyu himself, the okiagari symbolizes resilience: it always bounces back, reflecting the famous Japanese proverb, "Fall down seven times, get up eight." A thoughtful gift or personal keepsake, it's both meaningful and inspiring.
