Culbuto Okiagari Doll - Princess Hime

Japanese Culbuto Okiagari-koboshi Figurine – Princess Hime

Elegant and refined, Hime represents the traditional Japanese princess—a symbol of nobility, wisdom, and kindness. This okiagari tumbler doll is handcrafted in Japan using washi and crepe paper, with great care given to the intricate details of her kimono.

More than just a decorative item, the okiagari symbolizes resilience and perseverance. Always bouncing back to an upright position, it reflects the Japanese saying: “Fall down seven times, get up eight.” Giving an okiagari is a meaningful gesture of strength, hope, and good luck.
