Officially Licensed US Navy HS-84 Thunderbolts Patch

Officially Licensed US Navy HS-84 Thunderbolts Patch — Reserve Thunder in Embroidered Form

The Thunderbolts of HS-84 proved that Reserve Sea King crews were just as ready as any active-duty squadron.

Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 84 (HS-84), the Thunderbolts, was a U.S. Navy Reserve helicopter squadron operating the H-3 Sea King. This embroidered patch captures the Thunderbolts' insignia in full detail. HS-84's reservists maintained combat-ready ASW and search and rescue capabilities, training alongside active-duty counterparts and deploying when mobilized. The Thunderbolts' citizen-sailors brought professional expertise from both their military and civilian careers, creating a uniquely experienced squadron that could seamlessly integrate into fleet operations on short notice.

Perfect For: HS-84 Thunderbolts veterans, Navy Reserve Sea King crews, Reserve helicopter community members, Total Force advocates, and Navy helicopter heritage patch collectors.

Thunderbolts — Reserve proud and always combat-ready.
